Polish Children and Jam Saheb

Recent Polish plane crash accident has some gentle links with the city of Jamnagar and Jam saheb, the president and the unfortunate crew were flying to attend martyrs of the Katyn Massacre of 1940.

Jamnagar's Jam Saheb was the first to offer sanctuary to children of Polish officers massacred in Katyn Massacre, A MICA professor is completing a book about the polish refugees granted sanctuary by the Maharaja Jam Saheb of Jamnagar.

The book is tentatively titled “The Second Homeland”, this book will discuss about life of around 500 pollish orphans near the camp in Balachadi, 17 kilometres from Jamnagar
