Cows killed in Tata Plant

Four cows were found dead in Tata's Mithapur chemical plant,

Dead bodies of 4 cows were found near the canteen waste disposal area, authorities are investigating but it is believed that the death of these cows may have been caused by waste chemicals.

Police is investigating further.

Ship Drowned, Mayor Elections

A ship returning from Dubai torn to pieces and drowned when a larger ship hit her near Dwarka, the broken ship was from Mandavi and carrying cargo of Dates from Dubai.
All eight sailors were saved by a passing ship.
On news from Jamnagar city, Jamnagar Municipal Corporation will hold mayor elections on 14 December.
Jamnagar's M. P. Shah Medical college and GG Hospital (Irwin) will undergo an audit check by Medical Council of India.

INS Veer , Navy Week : Okha

Dwarka - Chief Office Caught in bribe

Dwarka town chief officer was caught red-handed on Friday while accepting bribe worth 16,000.

This comes as disturbing news as the rates of bribe were fixed on percent basis of total work amount, Chief officer Ashwin Pathak fixed the commission rate as 8% of total value; In this case 16,000 for an amount of 200,000.
Chief Officer is booked under Anti Corruption Laws.

car caught fire near Dwarka temple

A car that was parked in a no parking zone caught fire in wee hours
of monday, nearby people tried to stop the fire and later called fire
brigades.

The car was parked on no parking area near the jagat temple.

500 Brahmin trapped near Haridwar

Around 500 Gugli brahmins from dwarka are believed to be trapped near haridwar, recent rains and landslide near Uttarakhand have made things from difficult to worst.

Although there are no casulties reported yet but these travellers are afraid and are in dire need of food and life essentials

Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev kicked guns at Home minister P.Chidambaram and declared him as a possible mental patient

Baba Ramdev, was in Dwarka on the eve of Janmashtami, Journalists asked him about PC's remarks of "Saffron Terrorism".

Baba Ramdev said he was upset with this remarks, and called PC a metal patient, baba ramdev also suggested Yoga  and Pranayam as he can not see a difference between terrorism, Maoism and Naxalism. Baba ramdev was promoting his new political party Yatra from Dwarka.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh left Jamnagar yersterday and was overwhelmed with his experiences in Gujarat.
 
Amitabh Bachchan, stayed in Meethapur and went to Dwarka yesterday morning, Bachhan was featured in a video presentation with 1008 lamps on Gomti Ghat, he reached Jamnagar by road from where he left for Mumbai on a special plane.

Bachhan had completed filming for last piece of video for Gujarat Tourism promotion -  'Khushboo Gujarat Ki'.
