Giagantic High Tide Washes Jamnagar Shores

Since 2 days its rain and sea in Jamnagar District, Giagantic Sea tide have washed fertilizers of million of rupee stored at rozi bunder.

This fertilizer was stored by C.W.C. (Central Warehouse Corporation)

In Jam-Salaya, the sea tide swapped across the Salaya Village. At Harshad Mata Temple, the sea was quite rough.

INS Valsura : Coast Guard jawan died in boxing match

A boxing match turned into a death match at INS Valsura near Jamnagar, A Indian Coast Guard jawan succumbed to injury during a friendly boxing match.

A 24-year old unmarried coast guard jawan identified as P.Anand Pandi was posted at INS Valsura for Coast Guard training.

Pandi was hurt during a boxing competition, he was injured in his stomach. He was immediatly was taken to military hospital and later shifted to G.G.hospital where he died after treatment.

INS Valsura Training Institute is located on Rozi Island.

Freak accident killed three labourers

In Rozi port area near Jamnagar, three labourers were killed in a tragic accident.


According to police officials, the labourers were sleeping under cotton bags due to sheer cold in the region, while they were sleeping in morning; other labours unaware that someone could be sleeping in the cotton bag pileup started dumping heavy substances and more cotton bags, resulting to death of three labourers. They died due to suffocation. In other incident a labour at Essar's oil refinery in Jamnagar district also died when a heavy substance fell off from a crane.
