16 એપ્રિલ ના રોજ ગુજરાત ના રાજ્યપાલ જામનગર ના વાલસુરા ની મુલાકાતે આવશે,
રાજ્યપાલ ઓમપ્રકાશ કોહલી ૧૬ મી એપ્રિલે આઈએનએસ-વાલસુરામાં નૌસેના અધિકારીઓની પાસીંગ પરેડના નિરીક્ષણ માટે જામનગરની મુલાકાતે આવી રહ્યા છે.
આ પરેડ સમારોહમાં નૌસૈનિક અધિકારીઓના માતા-પિતા અને જામનગર પ્રશાસનના વરિષ્ઠ અધિકારીઓ ઉપસ્થિત રહેશે. આ પરેડ સવારે ૭.૩૦ થી ૮.૩૦ દરમિયાન યોજાશે, જેમાં રાજ્યપાલશ્રી ઉપસ્થિત રહેશે.

CM will also dedicate district collector office of Jamnagar and dedicate 300+ low income group affordable housing project.
In evening CM will dedicate Khambhaliya gate and Ranmal Lake Front to citizens.

Now JMC has fixed fine for those who violate the rules in periphery area of lake.
those who cause damage to property the amount of fine is Rs 500.
Garbage throwers will have to pay fine of Rs 100.
Those who will be caught spitting ofr smoking will pay Rs 50 fine.
Sign boards indicating fine are published and installed at lake.

શિયાળાની શરૂઆત થતાની સાથે જ સાંજથી જ લોકો કાવો પીવા ઉમટી પડે છે.
જામનગરના કાવાના મસાલા દેશ-વિદેશમાં પણ ધૂમ મચાવી રહ્યા છે, ઠંડીના મારણ માટે શિયાળામાં કોઈ જામનગરવાસી એવો નહીં હોય જે કાવો પીતો ન હોય, સાંજ પડેને કાવાની રેંકડીઓની આજુબાજુ કાવા સાથે ટોક શોનો પ્રારંભ થાય છે.
વિશ્વભરમા મુખ્યત્વે અતિ લોકપ્રિય કાવો આયુર્વેદીક મીકસ મસાલાથી ભરપુર ઉકાળીને બનાવવામાં આવે છે.
શરદી, ઉધરસ, કફ, ગેસ, પીતવાયુ, અપચો જેવા માટે કાવો અકસીર ગણવામાં આવે છે.આ કાવામાં ર૦ જેટલા આયુર્વેદીક મસાલા જેમાં બુંદદાણા, આદુરસ, સંચર, સુંઠ પાવડર વગેરેથી ઉકાળીને તેને લીંબુ મસાલા સાથે ગરમા-ગરમ પીવડાવવામાં આવે છે. એક-એક ઘુંટ શરીરમાં જાણે સર્ફુતીનો અનુભવ કરાવે છે. કાવામાં લવીંગ અને તજ જેવી વસ્તુઓ નાખવામાં આવતી નથી.
ભુજીયા કોઠા પાસે રજવાડી કાવા નામે બે પેઢીથી રેંકડી નાખી ધંધો કરતાં રણજીતસિંહ ગોહિલ જણાવે છે કે, બાપા-દાદાએ પાંચ પૈસા અને દશ પૈસાથી કાવો વેચવાની શરૂઆત કરી હતી. જે આજે એક ગ્લાસના રૂ. ૧૦ લેવામાં આવે છે.
અા કાવાનો મસાલો અમેરીકા, લંડન (અને અમર સીઁગાપોર મા પણ)સહિતના દેશોમાં મોકલે છે. ઉપરાંત ગુજરાત બહાર પણ તેની નિકાસ કરે છે.

Over 800 units of blood was collected during the blood donation camp organised by INS Valsura near Jamnagar as part of the Navy Week celebration on Friday. All blood donors were provided with refreshments and certificates by INS Valsura as a token of appreciation for their contribution towards their service to humanity.
Medical staff of INS Valsura conducted training and did live demonstration on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, a lifesaving procedure in case of emergency.
According to Navy officials, large number of donors including coast guard officials participated in the camp and donated blood for the cause. A lecture on 'Thallesemia Awareness' was also held to sensitise participants about the condition and importance of blood donation.

Okha fisherman was killed in a mid-sea firing incident near Okha block of Devbhoomi Dwarka district on Friday morning.
Marine police are suspicious the firing, which took place about 100 nautical miles away from Okha port, was carried out by Pakistan marines, the fisherman has been identified as Iqbal Bhatti (40), a resident of Okha.

જામનગર માં આવેલી આસિસ્ટન્ટ લેબર કમિશ્નર ઓફીસમાં આજે અેન્ટી કરપ્શન ની રેડ મા આસિ. કમિશ્નર અને તેના વચેટીયો રોકડ રૂ.૩પ૦૦ની લાંચ મા ઝડપાઇ ગયા.
આસિ. કમિશ્નરના ઘરની પણ તલાશી લેવામાં આવી રહી છે.
અેક લાયસન્સ રીન્યુ કરવા માટે જામનગર આસી.લેબર કમિશ્નર ભગીરથ ત્રિવેદીએ રૂ.૩પ૦૦ની લાંચની માંગણી કરી હતી. અા માઁગણી ની ફરીયાદ ACB પાસે પહોચતા લાંચ રૂશ્વત વિરોધી શાખાના સ્ટાફે છટકુ ગોઠવ્યું હતું.
આ કાર્યવાહી બાદ ACBઅે આસિ.કમિશ્નર ભગીરથ ત્રિવેદીના શહેરના વાલ્કેશ્વરી નગરીમાં આવેલા રહેણાંક મકાનની પણ તલાસી લીધી છે.
મિડલમેન પાર્થ સંઘવી અગાઉ અા જ કચેરીમાં કોન્ટ્રાક્ટ બેઈઝ પર નોકરી કરતો હતો.
જામનગર મહાનગરપાલિકા દ્વારા વર્ષો બાદ રંગમતી નદીના પટમાં શ્રાવણમાસ દરમ્યાન ૯ દિવસ લોકમેળાનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું છે.
અા વખતે પ્રદર્શન ગ્રાઉન્ડમાં ૬ દિવસના લોકમેળાનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું છે, જો કે શ્રાવણ માસના તમામ સોમવાર અને અમાસના નદીના પટમાં લોકમેળો યોજાશે.

તા.૧૭-ર૪ અને ૩૧ ઓગષ્ટ તેમજ
શ્રાવણમાસના અમાસના તા.૧૩ સપ્ટેમ્બર
શ્રાવણમાસમાં પાંચમ થી નોમ સુધી એટલે કે તા.૩, ૪, પ, ૬, ૭, સપ્ટેમ્બર સુધી રંગમતી નદીના પટમાં લોકમેળો યોજાશે.
આ વર્ષે પણ પ્રદર્શન ગ્રાઉન્ડમાં પાંચમથી દશમ સુધી એટલે કે તા.૩, ૪, પ, ૬, ૭, ૮,સપ્ટેમ્બરના છ દિવસ સુધી લોક મેળો ઉજવાશે.
જામનગરના રણજીતસાગર ડેમ પાસે અાવેલ ગૌશાળા મા અબોલ જીવોના મોત ભૂખમરાથી નિપજ્યાના સનસનીખેજ આક્ષેપ સાથે મહાપાલિકાના વિરોધ પક્ષના નેતાએ મ્યુનિસિપલ કમિશરને રજૂઆત કરતાં ચકચાર મચી જવા પામી છે.
નવી વિગત મુજબ અા "ડબ્બા" ના કર્મચારીઓ મૃત પશુઓનું બારોબાર વેચાણ કરી રોકડા કરી લેવાના પણ સમાચાર મળે છે.
આ પશુઓને સુકોઓને સુકો ભુસો આપવામાં આવતો નથી. તેમજ ગોળનું પાણી આપવામાં આવતું નથી. સારવારની દવાનો અભાવ છે.
નવાઇ ની વાત અે છે કે માંદા પશુ રજીસ્ટર નિભાવવામાં આવતુ નથી. મૃત પશુ વેંચી મારવામાં આવે છે.
એનીમલ હેલ્પલાઈન એમ.પી.શાહ ફાઉન્ડેશનના ડોકટરે જણાવ્યું છે કે આ મુંગા પશુને પુરતુ પોષણ નથી મળ્યું એટલે તડફડીયા મારીને મોતના મુખમાં ધકેલાય છે.
Indian Air force is overhauling its Mirage 2000 aircrafts. Just yesterday two of these upgraded Mirage landed at Jamnagar Airbase from France.
Dassault Aviation had delivered first two upgraded aircrafts to IAF just before PM Narendra Modi visit to France earlier this month.
Mirage 2000 landed at Jamnagar had stopover at Athens, Luxor, Doha.
The rest of the fleet will be upgraded in Bangalore by HAL and Dassault Aviation.
