Two crooks and their gang dug up bauxite ore worth nearly Rs.60 million from a Virpar village of Kalyanpur block.

Jamnagar's geology department's Royalty inspector P.M. Sharma had to file at the Kalyanpur police station,
Name of two accused are Bhikhabhai Narayanbhai Chavda and Arjanbhai Jethabhai Chavda,

Its strange how come they dug up 1,76,738.40 tonnes of bauxite ore without any lease agreement or permission?

Jamnagar - YPO Meeting ends

The biggest power gathering event staged in Gujarat, concluded at the RPL township in Jamnagar yesterday.

The meeting was of Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), A giant dome (worth 6 crore) was erected inside the township for the event.


Al Gore , Nobel laureate and former US vice president could not make it because of time constraints.

Dr. Death Arrested in USA

The Jamnagar-born Dr Patel, also known as Dr. Death was arrested in US

Federal Bureau of Investigation has arrested surgeon Jayant Patel to face charges of manslaughter and negligence for the death of 13 of his patients.

At the time of the death's Dr. Patel was director of surgery at Bundaberg Base Hospital in Queensland (Australia) from 2003 to 2005.

Kerala based Catholic Syrian Bank (CSB) is looking at closing this financial year with a business of Rs 9,000 crore.
 
Catholic Syrian Bank (CSB) is on a expansion spree, it has plans to open 50 branches over the next two years.
By April, A branch will come up at Jamnagar as well.

Note that Jamnagar is only non-south Indian district where the bank will be opening its branch as a part of the expansion project.
