A Jamnagar bound ship was attacked by Somali pirates, and was under threat from a live bomb onboard, Jamnagar coast guard and Gujarat police defused the bomb on Sunday.
A RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade) was thrown inside a Greek cargo vessel MT Agea, by Somali pirates, one of the RPG hit the ship but didn not explode, a joint operation was carried out in the vessel MT Agea in the Arabian sea, about 15 nautical miles off the Okha coast in Jamnagar, this ship was coming from from Antwerp in Belgium. a Bomb Disposal Squad was rushed to the Okha where an ICG hovercraft was kept ready for launch.
