Ajad, a remote island some 30 Km from Okha had around 10 families, this is one of the fertile island and these families live on agriculture.
Despite the "India Shining", this village had no electricity, till now.
Marine National Park authorities installed Solar lights and solar street lights. Residents of this island were enthusiastic about having electricity in their homes, the aim of this event was to bridge the gap between residents around Marine National Park and the ecology.
