Bribe to MP - Cairn in deep trouble

Cairn India project fight is taking new turns with involvement of Jamnagar MP.

MP Vikram Madam's kin has lodged a complaint, alleging that his life is under threat from Cairn India officials, Cairn India and L & T officials are under dock for bribing a kin of Jamnagar MP.

Cairn India is an exploration company and is working on to construct India's first heated / insulated pipeline Rajasthan to Bhogat, a coastal village in Jamnagar, from where it will be connected to port.

Jamnagar MP claims Cairn India wants to acquire farmers’ land for a very small price, Vikram Madam also said that Jagdeep Chaya , a Cairn India Official and R Rautray from L&T offered him Rs. 2 crore. Vikram Madam had already registered a complaint against these two officials, under the Anti-Corruption Act.
